The Female Stare

It is a known fact that a woman can look at someone for a split second and be able to tell what that person had on. Give her a couple more seconds and she can tell you the brand, style and EXACT colour. Then why is it that women stare at each other? You know the one i'm talking about, not the lustful way men stare at women, watching the sway of her hips and imagining...God knows what they DON'T imagine...No, i'm talking about the "head to toe" summation that goes on when another female walks by. There are actually a number of things that go on in woman's mind when u see her staring in this way, and no not all are malicious. Here is what happens. Female walks past, right away a bell goes off in our heads "nice shoes". Look closer at the style of the shoes imagine it in the proper size (that is whether it will still look good in a bigger/smaller size). See also how it fits and what shape foot would fit it best. (Here the malicious thinking may be "afta dat nuh fit har foot, har foot too broad fi dat, it mus' go on small foot like mine"). Then we see how she brought in the shoes to match the rest of the outfit. This will continue right down to the other lady's nail polish.
Sadly, many guys foolishly think that women dress up for them, when in truth, if she does not like how it looks on her no matter how u beg and plead and tell her she does not look fat in it, she will not put it on. The deep calculation that goes into each ensemble is something most men will never figure out. A woman will spend a really long time (hours for some) staring at herself in the mirror and sizing up herself just as she would another woman. So do we dress to impress the scrutinising eyes of other females? Or just so that we will feel good whenever we "happen " to pass and get a "glimpse" of ourselves in a mirror or reflecting glass? Things to ponder...
